Important Notes for Students & Institutes
These instructions are not optional suggestions. They are operational requirements stated in the university calendar.
Minimum Teaching Hours
Institutes must complete the minimum teaching hours prescribed in university ordinances. Directors or principals must arrange extra classes on weekends or holidays, online or offline, whenever required.
Two Class Tests Are Compulsory
Every semester must include two class tests after completing one-third and two-thirds of the syllabus. Makeup tests must be provided for genuine absence, with the timing governed by the circular.
AMS Attendance Is Mandatory
Institutes must regularly submit attendance through the University Attendance Monitoring System (AMS). Students below the required attendance may be detained and barred from university examinations.
Leave for Evaluation Duty
Faculty assigned evaluation work during vacation are entitled to earned leave according to the rules, along with duty leave for other examination work assigned by the University.
Lost Syllabus Must Be Recovered
Institutes must compulsorily cover the syllabus lost by newly admitted third-semester B.Tech and B.Pharm students through extra classes in the early morning, late evening, Sundays or holidays.
